Rugby League match played between Great Britain and Auckland at the Auckland Domain July 25th 1914.

“The match between England and Auckland was played here today in showery weather, and before an attendance of about 8000. The ground was heavy as a result of the early morning rain. The English team back and forward handled the heavy slippery ball in remarkable manner, and their fast passing runs evoked much applause. The Auckland forwards were a match for the visiting pack in the scrums and loose work. The failure of the Auckland backs to each account for his man was responsible for the large score recorded. England winning by 34 points to 12.” - from The Weekly Press, 29 July 1914.
