SPECIAL: THAT MERSEY SOUND BEATLES AT THE STADIUM
It’s the newsreel scoop of the year! In fact the scoop of the last TEN Years!
A Cinesound Special newsreel...nearly 700 ft devoted exclusively to the BEATLES! You’ll see and hear them sing extensive excerpts of no fewer than five of their most famous songs. “I Want (sic) To Hold Your Hand” “Love Me Do” “I Saw Her Standing There” “Misery” “She Loves You”
This Cinesound Special captures Beatlemania in all its forms. This huge sale of Beatle records, pendants, brooches and stockings....the fan magazines and the newspaper posters....the near hysteria that follows the Beatles wherever they go.
From New Zealand....Paul McCartney rubbing noses with a Maori - and then Wellington welcome...AND THEN we go into Sydney Stadium for exclusive film of the Beatles singing and very good shots of the audience.
The Beatles visit to Australia has been one of the most popular and most publicised visits by overseas artists. Cinesound celebrates with 700 feet of exclusive newsreel coverage.
