A debate on the argument regarding two exhibits in the ‘Pictura Britannica’ exhibition at Te Papa. The exhibits are a photograph recreating da Vinci’s painting of The Last Supper, replacing Christ with a topless woman, and the more controversial “virgin in a condom” - a small mass produced statue of the Virgin Mary with a condom over it. Chaired by John Campbell, participants are Cheryl Sotheran, Chief Executive of the Museum of New Zealand, Bishop Peter Cullinane, Bishop of Palmerston North, Stuart McKenzie, art writer and theologian, and Rehanna Ali, Islamic Federation of New Zealand.
