8 Aug 2023

The Board of Trustees of Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision is pleased to announce the appointment of Koroninia Dickinson (Ngāti Kahungunu ki te Wairoa, Ngāi Tahu) as its newest member.

Koroninia replaces Annie Murray (Te Arawa) who stepped down in April to take up the role of Chief Executive at the New Zealand Film Commission.

Koroninia is an executive producer, government relations expert, former diplomat and NZ triathlete. He is the Chief Executive of Poutama Trust, a Māori Charitable Trust that supports Māori businesses across Aotearoa. Koroninia is also a member of The Institute of Directors NZ, and an Executive Producer of a television and film production company, The KOHA Project Ltd.

Tumu Whakarae Chief Executive Honiana Love says:

“We are pleased to announce that Koroninia Dickinson has joined our Board of Trustees. His diverse range of experience in the creative sector, government, and Māori business development will be a valuable asset to Ngā Taonga. We look forward to working with him.”
