This edition of Connexions features a church service from Wellington City Elim Church, which was conducted on the 15th of December, 1989. The programme was broadcast on National Radio on the 7th of January, 1990. The music director is Ropati Amosa.

Rev Mike Nott welcomes everyone. The congregation sings ‘Come Let Us Sing For Joy to the Lord’. He gives a short introduction and prays. The congregation sings ‘I am a New Creation’. An unidentified woman reads passages from Isaiah and John followed by an item from a worship band. Two testimonies from Paddy and Julia. The congregation sings ‘Rise up you champions of God’. A unidentified man reads from Ephesians followed by a song in Samoan(?) The pastor prays and gives a sermon. The service ends with singing ‘Shine Jesus Shine’.
