s01; Marina interviews an unidentified New Zealand war bride, Mrs Rowe [?], who has come back from Toledo, Ohio to Auckland so her husband can study at the university. She was the first war bride in Toledo and started a club, which now has about 12 New Zealand members. She has a weekly radio talk to advertise the club, which has members from all over the world.
She says Americans were surprised to discover she spoke English and that New Zealanders were not 'coloured'. Her husband is a little disappointed at the lack of entertainment in New Zealand and they intend returning to America in a couple of years.
s02; Former New Zealand heavyweight boxer and now referee Tom Heeney talks to Dudley Wrathall about his boxing career and life in America, including his time in the U.S. Navy during the war. He served with the "Seabees' training U.S. Marines in the Pacific.[incomplete]
