s01; Farewell interview with the manager of the West Indian cricket team, Mr [?Mehre]. He talks about the surprise in standard of play in New Zealand since the loss of key players such as Martin Donnelly, Walter Hadlee and Jack Currie in the last year. Bert Sutcliffe is the one cricketer that he currently admires. Thanks is given to New Zealand for a friendly reception and the comment that New Zealanders, in his opinion "... are like the West Indians in that they have a colonial outlook..."

s02; Eric Tindall and Bill Tricklebank reflect on pre-war and present day cricket. Both Eric and Bill agree that the concentration of players is lacking in today's game - scores are not as high as they used to be.
