New Zealand Christmas Carols is a compilation of eight songs by NZ
composers. The first seven are performed by the St. Mary's Cathedral
Choir, Auckland. They are:
1) "The Virgin's Lullaby" composed by David Sell, dur: 1'46".
2) "The Oxen" composed by Dorothea Franchi, dur: 3'58".
3) "Cradle Song Of The Virgin" composed by Joseph Papesch, dur: 1'38".
4) "Carol Of The Star" composed by Ronald Tremain, dur: 4'20".
5) "People Look East" composed by Jack Body, dur: 2'07".
6) "The Message" composed by John Hyme, dur: 2'50".
7) "The Pohutukawa Tree" composed by Father Ted Forsman, dur: 3'16".
8) "Lylay" composed by Jack Body and performed by the Dorian Choir, with
conductor Peter Godfrey. Featuring Gillian Voice (flute), Rachel Kirk
(viola) and Ruth Brinkman (bassoon).
