Morning report. 1994-12-13, OBITUARY - FREDERICK TURNOVSKY

The man best known for describing New Zealand as a "cultural desert"
dies in Wellington aged 77. Frederick Turnovsky was also president of
the New Zealand Manufacturer's Association, was involved in classical music and opera, and
was awarded an OBE in 1965.
