An episode of 'New Zealand at Large' about the Christchurch Arts Centre.
One of the country's most successful arts venues began its life as a university college. It now hosts concerts, craftspeople and all manner of cultural events, and one man who knows its nooks & crannies better than most is the Christchurch Town Crier, Stephen Symons.

He leads a group of visitors around the complex, describing the heritage buildings, designed by architect Benjamin Mountfort.

In the Great Hall he retells the history of the memorial window. He then visits some of the tenants, artists and craftspeople in the former Christchurch Boys High School buildings.
