Side 1. Incomplete commentary of the 1936 Oakleigh Plate, Caulfield. The race ends with, "Aracne just won it from Belle Silhouette with Heros third, fourth a neck away is Cluniac and then Great Legend, Closing Time, Valiant Chief, Studio, Ogwell and Barak. The last was Heritor and the second to last ... was Short Wave."

Side 2. Incomplete commentary of the 1936 St. George Stakes, Caulfield. The race ends with, "Cuddle wins from St. Fervent with Young Idea third, fourth about three lengths away is Palfresco, another three lengths to Allunga, then Latrobe with Marabou second last and the last is Ismarus. Number two the winner, Cuddle, ridden by K. Boucy [?] first - won it without effort, apparently."
