Notes: Side A: opens part-way through music (Lilburn: Song of the Antipodes). Applause at conclusion of the work, OB announcer describes Douglas Lilburn coming onto the stage to acknowledge applause etc. Then intro to next work (Elgar: Enigma Variations). Intro includes reference by the announcer to the fact that at 9pm they'll be crossing back to the studio for the news, thus perhaps missing the final couple of variations. Side ends part-way through the variations. Side B starts with hall atmos, and then a continuation of the variations. Side ends with cross back to the studio at 9pm for the news. Bulletin not heard.
