NZ PRESENTS
NEW ZEALAND COMPOSERS' SERIES

This is a series of recitals featuring NZ composers and artists which seems to have originated at 1ZB. Composers were invited to contribute their own works - hundreds were received - and they were performed in the studio, in front of an audience, and were recorded live. The composer was frequently involved in the presentation but if that was not possible then local artists were invited to perform the works.
The recitals were part of the New Zealand Presents series. It seems that the programme played fortnightly on Sundays and was devoted to works by New Zealand composers. It played at 9pm. There are 6 programmes extant in this set - no clear indication of how many in total but possibly 12 (there is mention in one of it being the 11th).
In the listings below the composer's name is given first. Then the song title, then performer/s.
