Recollections of relieving and transmitting station halfway between Invercargill and Bluff, including shipping rescues, morse code messages and wartime listening post. Operators were taught Japanese morse code during the war by the navy.

The third speaker is Charles Allan Glennie, former manager of the station. The other participants are unidentified.
