Total Recall: 6PM - 7:30 Sunday
Total Recall is a unique blend of the topical and the historical – it’s about looking back to look forward. Movies, Music, Literature, Politics, Philosophy, History – if it made you laugh, made you cry, or just made you think – we’ll cover it. Join us for a fascinating show where the past meets the present.

Sam Bloore
Sam has had a few career (and salary) changes in his life. He studied medicine at Otago University and worked as a doctor for five years before leaving (voluntarily) to pursue other study and interests – including bioethics, media, theology, history, and popular culture. He has travelled in all but one of the continents, including a medical elective in Guatemala. He lives in Auckland with wife Julia and their beautiful new daughter Eden. Sam joined the Newstalk ZB team for occasional overnights in 2011.

Jax van Buuren
When Jax isn't running around after her adorable 2-year-old daughter, she loves making the most of our gorgeous country by hiking, fishing or diving. Married for 10 years to David, Jax has a real heart for family and loves that she lives so close to all of hers. Funny, cheeky and full of heart, Jax loves to engage with her fellow Kiwis. She’s had plenty of opportunity to do just that as she worked for twelve years as the Classic Hits breakfast host for Northland.
