Beeville - Ray Hansen, the founder of a co-operative farming community near Hamilton, talks about the community and its philosophy. It was named Beeville in 1945.
His brother Dan joined the community in 1944 and set up a welding workshop. Dan worked well even though he was confined to a wheelchair.
Ray talks about new members joining and the increasing numbers. The ideology of individual freedom and being responsible for one's own actions. Several of the members spent time in prison because of their beliefs. He believes the concept of co-operative way of living will carry on.
