Sir Selwyn Cushing, KNZM, CMG, FCA, CMA, ACIS

In the early 1970’s Selwyn was appointed to the Board of the then emerging company, Brierley
Investments Ltd, a position he held for more than 20 years. From this have flowed directorships with some of New Zealand’s highest profile companies. He was Chairman of Carter Holt Harvey Ltd, Whitcoulls Group Ltd, Air New Zealand Ltd, Skellerup Industries Ltd, Huttons Kiwi Ltd and Electricity Corporation of NZ Ltd. Other directorships he has held include Bank of New Zealand Ltd, St Lukes Group Ltd, Williams & Kettle Ltd, Eastern Equities Corporation Ltd and Union Shipping Group Ltd.
