D SERIES - 1957 Political Address, Prime Minister. This recording features an address at a National Party conference by the Prime Minister, Keith Holyoake. In his speech, he briefly discusses the health of Sidney Holland, and talks about the state of the nation under the National Party; the 'forward-looking' policy of the National Party; and his perception of the flaws of socialism and the Labour Party. This speech was delivered prior to the 1957 general election.
