Interviews made by Te Arani Peita at Te Tuhirangi Marae, Waimā about the return of carvings begun by Eramiha Te Kapua for a house at Panguru which never eventuated, and their successive journey around the North Island before their final return home to Waimā, where they were buried at the front of the pā.

She interviews an unidentified kaumātua and Dame Whina Cooper.
