01 Ngāti PONEKE, Wellington (0'27" - 4'37")
This is an original modern Action Song composed by Vicky and Tom Ward. It was composed as a tribute to their late Choirmaster - Bill Rourangi. It is called "Haere Mai - Pohiritia Ra".

02 N.Z. MāORI COMPANY (5'22" - 7'59")
"Utaina" and "Te Urunga Tu". These are two famous traditional Haka - one a Men's posture dance and the other a Women's posture dance. "Utaina" and "Te Urunga Tu" is performed in this case, by the N.Z. Māori Company. It is a traditional bracket featuring a Haka chant of the assembled host people and a posture dance of welcome.

03 MATAURA, Southland (8'32" - 12'22")
This is a song for the Poi dance. These are melodies composed by Tom Taurima and this performance is given by the Mataura group of Southland. It is called "Te Poi Tiwaiwaka".

04 Ngāti PONEKE, Wellington (13'07" - 15'05")
This is an original chant composed for the Ngāti Poneke Club of Wellington. It is entitled "Tumaramara Noa Te Tu A Poneke" and it means - Ngāti Poneke stands before you alone and very lonely.

05 AUCKLAND ANGLICAN (15'36" - 18'09")
This is an original poi chant composed by the Reverend Kingi Ihaka for his group Auckland Anglican Club. It is called "Tau Ake Au I Taku Tau".

06 MA WAI HAKONA, Upper Hutt (18'43" - 21'01")
This original modern Action Song was composed by Jock or Te Oka McEwen for his own group Ma Wai Hakona Māori Association of Upper Hutt. It is entitled "E To Te Ra" - the sun sets.

07 Ngāti PONEKE, Wellington (21'35" - 23'20")
This ancient rhythmic chant by Erenora Taratoa, is one of the most popular chants of Maoridom. It is called "Poia Atu Taku Poi" - Let my Poi fly to all parts of the land. It is performed by Ngāti Poneke Club.

08 Ngāti PONEKE, Wellington (23'54" - 26'27")
This is a modern arrangement of an ancient traditional chant of the Tuhoe tribe. It is called "Huai Huai" but the meanings of the archaic words are lost in the mists of time. It is performed by Ngāti Poneke Club.

09 TE ROOPU MANUTAKI, Auckland (26'57" - 29'57")
This is an original modern Action Song of welcome, composed by Dr Pita Sharples for his group Te Roopu Manutaki, winners of the 1975 N.Z. Polynesian Festival.
