All Black flanker Michael Jones has agreed to be the subject of a new colour poster which is the first in a "world cup rugby players" series, despite being under an injury cloud.
Michael Jones says he decided to feature in the new FADE or Foundation for Alcohol and Drug Education poster series which carries the message "World Cup Rugby players do not use DRUGS" because he's concerned there's a growing abuse problem amongst young pacific islanders.

Bryan Williams the techinal advisor to Western Samoa's upcoming debut in the rugby world cup is interviewed.

Also we interview David Robie the Pacific affairs writer about his new book.

A special Auckland hearing was scheduled this week for a paliamentary select committee to receive further submissions on the goverment's new immigration.
Sione Fonua a Tongan lawyer said the Pacific lawyers opposed many of the Immigration Amendment Bills provisions which they constructed as narrowing or abolishing present appeal rights to the courts.
