The national goverment since being back in power has reconstructed its political relationship with Fiji, the task of completing this process has fallen on to Don Mackay who will be taking over as the New Zealand ambassador to Fiji.

Manu Samoa, Western samoa's rugby world cup squad flies home from Auckland tonight after arriving from Britain earlier this week to a hero's welcome.

During their five day New Zealand breather, they've been praised and feted by Samoans and non samoans alike.

The squad's technical advisor Bryan Williams announced in Britain that he was standing down as co coach of the Auckland provincial side.

Bryan is hoping to retain his links with Western Samoa.
