TE ARAHI formed in 1981 is representing Te Taitokerau for the third time. Led and tutored by Martin Rakuraku of Tuhoe and Elsie Rakuraku of Aupouri, this group presents their items at the 1988 Aotearoa Festival of Arts held at Waitangi.

Their order of performance is as follows :-

CHORAL : Kia tangi Te Putatara

WHAKAEKE : Titiro ki nga tai o Tokerau.

WAIATA : E rere e te ao.

WAIATA-A-RINGA : Maumahara (comp. M.Rakuraku).

POI : Wahine ( comp.Te Rina Kingi)

HAKA : Te Tokowhitu o Kairewa. (comp. Taipari Munroe & Hohepa Petera).

WHAKAWATEA : Tenei te mihi a te hau kainga.
