Two waiata, E pa to hau, and He tangi.

A waiata tangi or lament titled "E pa to hau he wini raro."

This lament was composed by Rangiamoa for Te Wano, of Ngāti Apakura/Waikato. Rangiamoa was a cousin to Te Wano.

The second waiata titled : "He Tangi".

This lament was composed by Timoti Te Kaui of Ngāti Porou. He composed this waiata upon the death of his two grandchildren, children of his daughter Erana Wahakino who maried Peta Potini. They died at Tangoio and a mourning party went from there to Waiapu (Ngāti Porou). The lament was sung at Te Horo.
