In 1980 a Māori group led by Rev Kingi Ihaka and Kara Puketapu visited China.
It was an invatation extended by the Vice Premier of China, Madam Chin.

Wiremu Kerekere speaks with Puti Tukukino and Hine Poa two members of the group as they return to New Zealand from there visit to China. They speak about the various countries, people, their various cultures and attitudes.

Wiremu also speaks with younger members of the group.
