Māori chants recorded before 1957.

1. Chant: Love chant of Puhiwahine to her cousin lover, Mahuta Te Toko during tangi on Oparere marae.

2. Mahuta Te Toko's chant tō Puhiwahine.

There are other unidentified tracks.

Sent by a resident of the USA who had been a student of Pirimi Tāhiwi "s (Ngāti Raukawa) WEA Workers' Educational course in Māori language and culture courses.
