Interview : COLIN KNOX.
Colin, of Ngāti Raukawa and Ngāti Toa descent, grew up in Otaki and spent much of his time on Ngāti Raukawa marae around his kaumatua and kuia. He studied business on a scholarship at Harvard University, and went on to draw up the blueprint for Te Wananga o Raukawa with his cousin Whatarangi Winiata. He speaks to Libby about his lifetime journey with his Iwi. Part one.

Jacqui Sturm was known in the 50s and 60s for her short story writing. She was one of the first Māori women to gain a degree, and was the first Māori writer to be selected for a New Zealand anthology. In 1997 she released "Dedications", a book of poetry tracing the journey of a woman discovering her identity through her relationships. In Whenua ! her poems are introduced by Te Ahukaramu Charles Royal.
