"Haere mai ra", a welcome song from the Nuhaka School children.
"Toia Tainui" a canoe hauling chant or pātere, sung by a Te Whānau-a-Apanui singer from Te Kaha.
"Naumai e ngā iwi" sung by Ngāti Huramua from Wairoa [Ngāti Tānemitirangi?] with piano accordion accompaniment
"Tākiri, tākiri, tākiri" chant by a Ngāti Porou group.
And finally, " E papaki kau ana" another chant, sung by young people of Ngāti Hurumua, the soldier's settlement block near Wairoa.
