EXTERNAL AFFAIRS - MIKE MOORE AND ASEAN CONFERENCE / THAI VI

Richard Griffin reports on the results of the ASEAN ministerial talks
held in Jakarta. He speaks with External Affairs Minister Mike Moore.
The report covers the completing of negotiations with rebel leaders in
Bougainville, Papua New Guinea and the United States initiative to
resolve conflict in Cambodia. The report also covers the resolution of a
debate between New Zealand and Thailand over entry Visas for Thai
visitors to New Zealand. Sally Hasom talks to Peter Neumegan, head of
Auckland's Thai community about the Government's decision to back off
the idea of reintroducing Visa's for Thai visitors.
