New Zealand. Royal New Zealand Navy

Fraser Folster reports that peace negotiations have begun between Papua New Guinea Government officials and representatives of the Bougainville Revolutionary Army onboard the New Zealand Navy tanker Endeavour. The talks follow a landowners revolution demanding greater returns from the Bougainville copper mine which escalated into a secessionist war, closing the mine.
