Kay Gregory reports that the body of one of two missing Swedish tourists
has been found in bush near the Coromandel town of Whangamata. The
Swedes went missing in 1989 and David Wayne Tamihere was convicted of
their murder, dispite no bodies being found at the time. Kim Hill i/v
John Tamihere, brother of the man convicted of the murders. He says the
discovery of Urban Hoglin's body will help in the legal battle against
his brother's conviction. Wellington pathologist, Dr Ken Thomson
comments on the likley difficulty in establishing the cause of death
after such a long time.
