Kelvin Dick reports that Lawyers and accountants are facing problems
compensating clients who have lost money through irregular dealings
involving law and accountancy firms. Lower Hutt accountants have
refused to pay a $3,500 dollar fidelity fund levy, while a law society
has asked police to investigate the business dealings of one law firm,
and another law society has frozen the funds of one of its members
following complaints by the lawyers clients.

Geoff Robinson speaks with Accountancy Professor Don Trow of Victoria
University about lawyers and accountants reactions to the uncovering of
fraudulent dealings within the Accounting and legal fraternity.
