A Suzuki trail bike explores the central plateau.
“Let Suzuki blow your mind.”
Mike Chunn says NZ pop singer Lindsay Marks wrote "Let Suzuki Blow Your Mind" in the hope of getting a free motorcycle. The 1973 recording was one of the first made by Split Ends (without the "z" yet) with Tim Finn on main vocal and Lindsay singing a line at the end. Recorded at Stebbing Studios by "Tony the pipe-smoker" (according to Lindsay). The motorcycle audio was recorded in a street behind the studio in Herne Bay, Auckland.
