“Sarah and TK prepare to go back to his hometown. Sarah isn't confident about the reception she'll get from TK's family after Huia's tangi. But TK assures her it'll be fine. When they arrive, Sarah realises there's some tension and doubts that she'll ever fit in. Then Sarah watches as TK takes his place in the hierarchy, which seems to be that of favoured son. She notes the animosity between TK and Wiremu's father, Rua. And it emerges that Tane is the new favoured son in line after TK, making Wiremu feel bad. Sarah sees Rua side-lined when Buddy asks TK to schmooze the Japanese representatives who are coming to check out the new golf course. Later, acting out of resentment at the treatment meted out to his father, Wiremu encourages a drunken Tane to tag the golf green. Meanwhile Sarah grills TK about the family dynamics and asks him to take her side. TK assures her Rua's beef is from their youth - nothing major. But then the boys turn up at an important dinner drunk. Sarah sees Wiremu is treated more harshly than Tane. Rua leaves the lunch, indignant. He explains that he's angry about the way Tane gets let off all the time. Sarah comforts him. Later TK gives Tane a light reprimand and Sarah wonders if Rua is right. The next day, Sarah feels even more protective toward Wiremu when he is automatically blamed for the damaged green." TVNZ; tvnz.co.nz; 10/10/2007
