As part of the channel’s all-day broadcast – A TĀTOU TAONGA: ANZAC DAY 2008 – the music show fronted by Te Hāmua Nikora will feature songs that hold special ANZAC significance to the performers. Producer Erina Tamepo says the energetic, entertaining and emotional evening will be broadcast live from Māori Television’s Auckland studio and will showcase compositions loved by many as well as lesser known tunes – “all with an ANZAC theme at their core”.
