This is the music video for “Bright Grey” from the album “Happy Ending” by The Phoenix Foundation. The Phoenix Foundation are a New Zealand indie band who have been active since the year 2000 and are well known for their album “Buffalo” and have received international acclaim for their song writing and production.

This music video references the 1970s and 80s and features the band performing on stage wearing retro fashions. Taika Waititi arrives on set in a DMC DeLorean before the band start playing. Vintage computer graphics are superimposed behind the band as they play and various visual effects are applied to the footage.
