Following the triumph of ‘Lord Of The Rings’ Peter Jackson chose to return to the earlier assignment he had been working on before the studio pulled the plug - a second remake of ‘King Kong’. Jackson had earlier brought a creature back from Skull Island in his ‘Brain Dead.’
