Join Manawa Wright on his journey to healthy, cost effective eating in this new Māori Television series, TAO.
Manawa will visit different rangatahi households every week with tasty recipe ideas, full of nutrition to benefit the whole family.
A variety of meals will be on the menu week to week, from breakfast to desserts, picnics to special occasions, with the added bonus of tips from Tipi!
TAO is supported with nutritional advice from Noella Taiapa, a qualified Clinical Nutritionist from Ngāti Porou me Rongowhakaata. A top student from Wellpark Natural Health College in Grey Lynn, Noella is the Nutritionist and researcher for the rangatahi cooking show TAO.
“TAO is a dream come true, when I was a student I thought that it would be great to create a healthy nutrition programme for our people…”
A firm believer in “small changes lead to big changes” Noella hopes that TAO will provide our rangatahi with an opportunity to learn how to prepare healthy meals that are affordable, tasty and easy to prepare. TAO premieres Friday May 7 at 6.00 PM
