Alison Holst has become a household name in New Zealand for her work in presenting television shows about cooking and baking. She has worked on cooking shows from the 1960’s onwards and was an early adopter of the microwave and food processor, recognising them as time saving devices in the kitchen. Holst has also published many cookbooks with an emphasis on everyday cooking, affordable ingredients and uncomplicated recipes.

This episode of “Alison Holst’s Cooking Class” was produced in association with Jenn-Air New Zealand, Toshiba and Beckett Publishing and was accompanied by three cookbooks of the same title.
