000:12 Napier Taupo Road... New Mohaka Bridge:The old bridge is maintained while the new one is being built. The new £500,000 bridge is 700 feet long and the biggest highway bridge of its kind in New Zealand.

001:42 Nelson Hop-Stripping Machine: In Sunrise Valley in Motueka, vines of hops are cut down and trucked to sheds where a machine strips them. This new method of harvesting halves the cost of traditional hand picking. Women sort the hops on a conveyor belt.

003:40 Kapiro Water Ski Carnival: The National Water - Ski Association holds a day of racing on Lake Karapiro. 9,000 people line the banks. There are special displays of jumps, stunts, slalom and barefoot skiing.
