ANCHOR FILM PARADE

A documentary on dairy farming and processing, focusing on Waikato dairy farms. Sequences of top dressing, butter making, cheese making, the manufacture of tin cans in Frankton, and timber milling. Condensed milk, and milk powder, is produced and put to use in the making of cakes and biscuits.

Includes scenes of: The Waitoha factory; a pig farm; coal mining in the Waikato; Milk Treatment plant in Epsom.

Includes historical dramatisations of butter making in ‘the old days’.
