This item is a Telecom advertisement that advertises call waiting. In the advert, a plumber is fixing a toilet that is clogged up and asks a boy who lives in the house what happened. The boy is outside the bathroom. It cuts to Spot The Dog, who appears from around the corner. The plumber goes into the kitchen and asks if he can use the phone, hoping his daughter is not on the phone. Spot then runs across town to the plumber’s house. Spot arrives and enters the plumber’s house where the plumber’s daughter is on the phone, with Spot barking and jumping in circles. It cuts to text annotated “Phone Free 0800 735 735” with the Telecom logo and text “The right connection. Not available in all areas” on a black background. It then dissolves to text annotated “S.P.O.T. Service and Product Of Telecom” with the Telecom logo, with text annotated “The right connection. Normal call charges apply” on a black background. It cuts to a close-up of Spot jumping in circles and then falls to the ground.
