'MUNITION WORKERS CANTEEN: Women after working on munitions enjoying an excellent dinner served in the canteen at actual cost'. After a brief scene of the women at their workbenches, the sizeable canteen is shown; cups of tea are served, women sit at the tables. In the kitchen, cooks are seen preparing food (mostly rather unpleasant-looking cuts of meat).

'THE LINCOLNFIELD HANDICAP: Mr. F. Philip's Clap Trap winning the Lincolfield (sic) at Lingfield Park. This is the Lincoln Handicap having been re-named under the new war racing conditions'. Horses are led out of the paddock and down to the starting post. The race itself. The paddock after the race: the winning horse Clap trap is seen in close-up.

'CADETS AT THE GUILDHALL: The Imperial Cadet Yeomanry (City of London) marching off from the Guildhall to be inspected by the Lord Mayor, at the Tower of London'. The cadets line up in the courtyard outside the Guildhall and are inspected by the Lord Mayor; lots of pigeons are also wandering around. Afterwards, the cadets march through the streets towards the Tower of London.

'NEW ZEALANDERS WIN AT RUGBY: The New Zealanders have their revenge by beating the South Africans at Richmond, by five points to three'. Both teams pose for the camera; shots of the action during the game, including scrimmage.

'U.S. TROOPS FOR MEXICO: United States troops leaving on a transport, bound for Mexico, to protect the rights of American citizens from the insurgents'. Troops are crammed onboard the US Army Transport Kilpatrick; most of them appear to be African American. They wave as the ship puts to sea; many of them are climbing up the rigging.
