The programme centres itself around Tiki Tiki TV station set in Tiki Tiki Forest, which is run by puppets. The puppets are all animals and birds found in New Zealand. The main characters are: PC Penguin, Kit Kiwi and Ruru Morepork . Other puppets includeKylie and Blue the possums, Sid the shag, Huhu the huhu bug, Claudia the cat, Roxanne Rat and Rover the roving reporter.
