Artist Nigel Brown was born in the South Island and later moved with his family to Tauranga where he spent most of his childhood. His ambition was to become an artist and after attending Art School in Auckland, he married, had a family, worked in factory jobs and painted at night. Human interaction of figures and people in his work are what interested him most. His work appeals to all ages and below are various people who comment on his work.
