The film is an experimental semi-fictional documentary that follows Auckland Cult performer 'Killer Ray' to the streets of Bangkok.

“Liebestraume is the story of Ray Edmundson's life - not as it really happened, but how he remembers it. Ray Edmunson is born from the ocean waves, walking out of the sea with his bicycle straight into life as a shy paper boy. Throughout his life he compulsively brushes his chest with tooth brushes, meets various women, struggles with loneliness and becomes crazy when he hears jazz. An off beat fairytale..egg and spoon racing, chickens, a wedding in Thailand, condoms and cabbages, polices officers - this film has unusual stamped all over it”. www.screeninnovation.govt.nz/files/resources/catalogue.pdf+LIEBESTRAUME&hl=en&gl=nz&ct=clnk&cd=10
