"During March 1996 film director and wedding photographer Florian Habicht met Killer Ray at MacDonalds, on Auckland's famous Karahangahape Road. Both being eccentric individuals the two became friends. Over the next years Florian and a dedicated team began to film Ray's life. Not as it really happened, but how Ray remembered it. After the filming, Killer Ray was given a present for his efforts and many talents, a ticket to Bangkok. It had always been Ray's dream to visit Thailand. And when Killer Ray finally left New Zealand, he never came back.”
