Two young cowboys purchase a car and head to the country. On the way they pick up another two men and head to the annual Fairlie Rodeo.The cowboys must endure hardships in order to compete in rodeo events. The men fill in some free time during an entertaining night out. Shows the Rerewhakaaitu rodeo and also the final one at Warkworth, including the Grand Parade and a variety of events.

Excellent footage of deer hunting by helicopter. Bob Armitage, an internationally known cowboy, tackles and brings down the stag.
