“60 Minutes is alongside severely brain-damaged teenager Genesis as she gives birth to a healthy baby.
She was a notorious teenage tearaway whose life was wrecked by a car crash. Genesis ended up severely brain-damaged, unable to feed herself or talk, barely able to move. She was also pregnant. As she lay in hospital in Christchurch, she was carrying a passenger, another young life.
Genesis has now given birth and her baby is alive and kicking.  60 Minutes reporter Amanda Millar has been following the progress of both mother and child.
