The Labour Party conference wound up today with much of it focused on left wing criticism of Rogernomics. Ministers are concerned about the party becoming factionalised. The views of Labour voters in Takaka Valley, Nelson, are surveyed. Formerly a staunchly Labour electorate the pain of Rogernomics has hit the area hard and people feel disenchanted with and let down by the Government.
